All photos were taken on a Canon Rebel G film camera. I mostly use a 28mm lens, but sometimes use a nifty 50.
barbershop quartet PERFORMANCE
I have been a trained singer for over 20 years, largely in chamber choirs and large ensembles. In September 2022, I decided to pursue barbershop as a tenor, and soon after joining a chorus, I formed the quartet What’s The Deal with my friends Dean, Betsy, and Joe. We won our first regional gold medal for Mixed Barbershop Harmony Society in 2023, and our second in 2024, qualifying us for international competition (we placed 3rd). We’ve also performed in the Barbershop Harmony Society circuit. Below is our winning 2024 performance and some photos of us doing what we do best: singing and goofing around.
